What We Do
The Effective Learning Centre is a UK based Community Interest Company set up specifically to help children and adults receive the education they deserve.
As well as providing One on One tuition in our Centre we provide Seminars and Lectures on Drug Education, Art, Human rights and Home Schooling amongst other things. The Centre has a variety of activities and Seminars most weeks.
In the UK the poorest children do less well at school than wealthier classmates. With Lockdown many vulnerable children have missed vital education. Private, one on one tuition is out of the question due to costs and many children have no hope of making up the lost time.

Our tutors are all experienced, qualified, specially trained tutors and teachers.
We have a Sponsorship program. This means anyone can apply for Sponsorship and get the tutoring they need free. Sponsorship is granted in blocks of 5 hours.

There's a lot that can get in the way of education
The Effective Learning Centre provides paid one on one tutoring in our Centre as well as group lessons to children and anyone who wishes to receive this help. Most subjects are catered for. We have a Sponsorship program. This means anyone can apply for Sponsorship and get the tutoring they need free.
Sponsorship is granted in blocks of 5 hours. Full detail on application. We aim to help everyone that we can get the help they need. With Lockdowns now easing we also provide tutors who come to your home for direct one on one tuition.

Additionally we provide education books and book packages for children and tutors that help teach how to study effectively.
If you are home schooling there is advice and help in our Centre. We can also recommend book packages for children and parents.
We make sure children keep learning and are able to fulfil their potential whatever their circumstances.
