About Us
The Effective Learning Centre provides one on one tutoring in our Centre as well as group lessons. The group lessons are delivered to a maximum of 5 students at a time. These services are for children and adults of any age.
We can help primary children with reading and writing.
Some of the popular subjects we tutor are:
- Maths
- English
- Science
- English as a Foreign language.
Just to name a few. We can help with any subject.
As well as helping children catch up and ultimately excel we do provide tutoring in preparation of exams.
Costs range between £30-£48 per hour.
We have a Sponsorship program. We aim to help provide tutoring to anyone that needs it, regardless of their financial situation. Anyone can apply for Sponsorship and, if successful, get the tutoring they need free. Sponsorship is granted in blocks of 5 hours. Full detail on application. (Link to contact us page)
Additionally we provide education books and book packages (Link to learn how to study page) for children and tutors that help teach how to study effectively. We also run study groups where your child can learn the skills to study and learn how to learn about absolutely anything!
If you are home schooling there is advice and help in our Centre. We can also recommend book packages for children and parents.
We aim to help children continue to learn effectively and fulfil their potential whatever their circumstances.
